Her Circle is an inclusive, collaborative, diverse, interactive, socially-conscious digital movement for the women of India. We are her safe space for growth.
These are not just words for us, but a mission. Since the launch of Her Circle on March 8, 2021, by Smt Nita M. Ambani, this mission has been embraced by a diverse team working constantly to make sure every woman is equipped with every tool she requires for personal growth and happiness. Over the last six months, we have not only focused on bringing vital information to her attention, but also focused on every aspect of her health and wellbeing. As Her Circle completes six months, we take a closer look at how this platform has provided her with the safe space she needs to grow with.
Connecting women and their needs
Bringing together women from all backgrounds is our Connect section, where we have communities and conversations about everything that she cares about—whether it’s finance and startups or cooking and gardening. Every community on Connect is about that balance of vital information and fun, especially when it comes to ones like Stand Up Land and Pottermania. The world might not appreciate your love for books, your furry friend or your dedication to working out, but we’re here to give some love back for your quips and photo dumps. Moreover, women entrepreneurs have also been able to freely share information about their services and wares on Connect. Recently, Connect has also witnessed women opening up about their mental health and the help they need with it. This community is so inclusive and supportive that through it, women are finding just the safe space they need to address their mental health issues, among other vital needs.
Helping you grow, holistically
Where do you go if you need help? Her Circle provides you with that answer through the Grow and Help sections. With a panel of experts across most fields, whether it’s gynaecology, psychology or finances, Help actually focuses on constructive problem-solving and support for women in need. Some of the recent queries from women that stand out include one about depression, and another about suicidal thoughts. Almost 80 per cent of all queries are based on PCOS, delay in period and hormonal imbalance. These are critical areas of health that need attention, and Her Circle is here to provide them to women.
Through the Grow section, women can access job opportunities. A clear trend on this section is women applying for positions like business analyst, content writer, specialist, associate and executive. This highlights the fact that women on the platform are clearly aiming high, as they should.
A million ways to Get Inspired
The Get Inspired section is the heart of the platform, and not just because this is where you will find your daily dose of inclusive news. This section houses the stories of women achievers, whether it’s celebrities like Dia Mirza and Mandira Bedi, industry leaders like Dr Sangita Reddy and Naina Lal Kidwai, educators like Dr Ranjana Kumari and Ratnaboli Ray, or women in sports like Deepa Malik and Shatabdi Avasthi. Beyond the experiences of these inspiring women, the section brings relevant news to the forefront, whether it’s about court decisions that empower women or role models from around the world who are breaking the glass ceiling.
