Her Circle’s August 2022 cover celebrates the 75th year of Indian independence with the changemakers of tomorrow – Teen achievers who, despite several obstacles, have emerged as inspiration at the frontline of progress. Young girls who do not allow stereotypes to define them and have chosen their future through hard work and resilience. Young girls of our country who inspire women around the world to believe in themselves, and their right to achieve their dream of freedom. The cover celebrates the diversity and inclusiveness of our country with three teen achievers.

Saniya Mistry: Teenage Rap Sensation

Young hijab-wearing rapper, Saniya Mistri from Mumbai, is an internet star who raps like a professional. Popularly known as Mumbai’s Gully Girl, her rapper name is Saniya MQ. With lyrics that are based on breaking the barriers of inequality and poverty, this teen’s journey reflects how music can be a path to freedom.

Ridhi Phor: Country’s Top Archer

Ridhi Phor, India’s top archer, is a Reliance Foundation athlete who has won several international and national medals. Sports is a very strong and powerful medium for young girls and women to express themselves, express their choices, a medium that gives them the flight to freedom – This young achiever journey reflects how sports can be a path to freedom.

Jui Keskar, Award-Winning Tech Innovator

Jui Keskar, a tech innovator has received several awards for her invention, a glove that detects Parkinson's tremors. In an attempt to help her uncle battle Parkinson's, Keskar invented the JTremor-3D device, which helps measure tremors in patients and sends the data to the doctors through a Cloud database.  Her journey showcases how women in STEM can make a difference in healthcare, tech and other fields to not only experience freedom themselves but also to provide societies with better access to it.
